Skyland View Home Renovation

This home was once a disheveled property with two separate living quarters upstairs and downstairs, and only outdoor access to the inside of each. Today it’s used as a beautiful rental property with tons of mountain charm. Every inch of this home was renovated after being completely gutted. Sealings in the main living area upstairs were vaulted to give a much more open and spacious feel inside the home. Other renovations included a new stairwell built to add indoor access between upstairs and downstairs floors, paint inside and outside, a new roof, all new electrical and plumbing, new landscaping and a gravel drive. New hardwood floors were laid upstairs with the downstairs area being carpeted for a cozy feel that suits the home well during the long cold winter months in Blowing Rock. The kitchen features granite countertops and an island with a butcher block top as well as stainless steel appliances. There is a small room off the kitchen that was transformed into a dining room with open airy views of the backyard.
